Good Afternoon:

·         PICTURE RETAKES: Picture retakes will be TOMORROW, October 23 at 9:30 a.m.  You need to return your picture prints if you wish to have them retaken.

·         ½ DAY OF SCHOOL: THIS Friday, school will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m. due to Parent/Teacher Conferences.

·         PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES are scheduled for THIS Friday, October 26.  A revised schedule is attached to this note.  Recheck your time(s) to verify when they will be.

·         HOT LUNCH: This week Mary Kamps and Mary Kortz will be serving Arbys Roast Beef, Chips, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Pop.  Snack Sale providers are Mary Kortz and Anne Miedema.  Please bring 28 snacks.

·         TRIP: Cash ‘n Carry is Monday and Fridays from 2:30-3:00.

·         GIRLS BASKETBALL GAMES:

·   Tuesday, October 23, Legacy Christian 8th, 3:45 p.m., at Eastside

·   Thursday, October 25 and Saturday, October 27, Tournament at South Christian

·        ATTENTION CATECHISM MOMS: Grace Seif will be watching the kids this Wednesday.

·        STOP-N-SHOP:

·  The Promoters of Eastside are eager to host our Stop-N-Shop Arts & Crafts Show.  We have a great new selection of vendors and home party hostesses you won’t want to miss.  There will also be soups, our homemade Dutch almond banket and chicken salad croissant platters for purchase too.  Plan now for a day out to fellowship with family and friends on Saturday, November 3 from 9 am-2 pm.

·  LADIES: Please donate any shopping or grocery bags to the school kitchen by 3 p.m. on Friday, November 2.  These will be used to help people transport their baked goods.  Thank you!

·  WORKERS: A sign up sheet is available at school for various set up, working, and take down positions.  If you are willing to work please sign up this week.

·  BAKERS: It’s not too early to start looking for those special items to make.  If you are looking for ideas, coffee cakes, cookies, candies, and lunch items are always good sellers.  Bakeware is located on top of the refrigerator in the school kitchen.  Sign up sheets are posted outside the gym doors.

·  The Eastside Table is looking for donations of any kind.  If you have something you would like to donate, contact Cheryl Corson (365-9330).

We begin at 8:30 a.m.  Please bring a rolling pin, apron, and hat.  Aprons, hats, or hair nets will be provided if you don’t have any.  A small lunch will be provided.  We hope to be done around 1:30 p.m.  Thanks to all of you helpers, we couldn’t do it without you.  As the saying goes “Many hands make light work”.
