Good Afternoon:

·        SCHOOL PICTURES:  Will be THIS Wednesday, September 5 at 12:30 p.m.  Package envelopes are being sent home today.  Please fill them out and return them with the student on Wednesday!  All students are required to have an envelope even when pictures are not being ordered.

·        SCHOOL DIRECTORY will be sent home later this week.

·        TRIP:  Today is a special date so that you can take advantage of the “Back to School” bonuses being offered by the following retailers: Speedway, Sears, J.C. Penney, Barnes & Noble, Lands End, Staples and Cabela’s.  If you did not submit your order at school, you may call Kristin (791-6590) by 5:00 p.m. today.  Cash ‘n Carry will begin its regular schedule this Friday from 2:30-3:00 p.m.  Stop by and check out the variety of our inventory!

·        EASTSIDE SHIRTS: 

·  There are an assortment of white Eastside shirts ($4) and sweatshirts available for purchase.  If you would like to purchase one, please see either Anne Miedema or Pete Adams after school for further details.

·  SCHOOL SHIRTS: We will be placing orders for both the blue polo shirts and the grey P.E. shirts so please consider whether your child needs a new shirt this year.  Order forms are coming home today with the students and must be returned to school by THIS Friday, September 7.  Please return them with payment included.  Checks should be made payable to Eastside Christian School.  Although only the polo and P.E. Shirts are required, sweatshirts are also available for sale and can be found on the order forms.  These are all navy blue with the Eastside logo on them.  They are really nice for school outings on cold days or for everyday wear at school.

·        NOTE: ALL Students (PreK-9^th) MUST have the navy blue shirts with the Eastside logo.  The policy manual has not been corrected to say that first time students must also purchase the shirts.

·        PROMOTERS MEETING will be held on Thursday, September 20, at 7:30 p.m.  Please come and encourage new members to come as well.  Election of officers will occur at this meeting.

·        CHAPEL will be THIS Wednesday, September 5 at 8:30 a.m.  Remember to wear your school blue shirts.

·        ROOM PARENTS: We are looking for two room parents per classroom.  If you are willing to be a room parent, please contact the school office (942-2939) during the first week of school.

·        BAND: Band will begin THIS Wednesday, September 5.
