Welcome Back:

·        NOTES HOME: All notes will be sent home with the youngest child this year.  If you would like to have them sent home with another child, please call the school office (942-2939).

·        PRE-K/KINDERGARTEN SCHEDULE:

·   Wednesday, August 29, 8:30-11:30 a.m. *Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten.

·        TRIP:  We are excited to offer TRIP again this school year.  TRIP is an opportunity to reduce tuition costs and earn money for Eastside Christian School by purchasing prepaid gift cards that are used just like cash at participating retailers.

·        Cash ‘n Carry will be offered on Mondays and Fridays from 2:30 – 3:00 p.m., beginning Friday, September 7.  If you would like to purchase TRIP prior to the start up of Cash ‘n Carry, please call Heidi (682-0086) to make arrangements.

·        Our first Order date will be Tuesday, September 4.  You may wish to take advantage of the “Back to School” bonuses being offered by the following retailers: Speedway, Sears, J.C. Penny, Barnes and Nobles, Lands End, Staples and Cabela’s. Attached to this note is an Order form listing the most requested retailers. For a complete list, visit www.glscrip.com or request a copy from Heidi.  Return the form and check/cash on the order date.

·        We will continue to update you on order dates, new vendors and special incentives through the Monday Note and the TRIP Trends Newsletter.

·        SCHOOL PICTURES: Wednesday, September 5 at 12:30 p.m.

·        ALL-SCHOOL PROGRAM: The faculty is asking for a parent to help plan the All-School program this year.  If you are interested in helping please call the school office at 942-2939. Thank you.

·        MILK: Because the milk prices have increased, the price of milk for your child per day has increased.  The prices per semester will be $18 for 1^st-9^th Grade and $9 for Kindergarten.  If you would like your child to receive milk, even if you said yes on your enrollment form, please fill out the form at the bottom of this note.  Thank you.

·        CHAPEL will be NEXT Wednesday, September 5 at 8:30 a.m.  Remember to wear your school blue shirts.

·        ROOM PARENTS: We are looking for two room parents per classroom.  If you are willing to be a room parent, please contact the school office (942-2939) during the first week of school.

·        BAND: Band will be starting Wednesday, September 5.
