Good Afternoon:
· HOT LUNCH: This week Meribeth Newhof and Bernadette Orzechowski will be serving Chicken Strips, Chips, Pudding, and Pop. Snack Sale providers are Vicki DeKryger, Cheryl Corson, and Sarah Windemuller.
· CANDY & NUT SALE: This is the last week to place the Candy and Nut Sale order. These one pound bags are perfect for holiday gifts and parties! All products are sold in 1 pound packages, decoratively bagged for the holidays. Look for the attached flier and order form for a list of products and prices. We encourage you to share this information with friends and family as well. Please return order forms to Eastside School no later than Friday, December 8. Orders will be available for pick-up on Friday, December 15. Thank you for your support!
· ATTENTION LADIES: Are you looking for a way to make your holiday baking a little easier? Eastside has some delicious banket baked or frozen (unbaked) available for you at $5 each. Call Cheryl Corson (365-9330) or Anne Miedema (954-1058) and order some today.

· BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME:
· Tuesday, December 5, Eastside vs. Lamont 6-8th grade at Eastside at 4:15 p.m.
· Tuesday, December 12, Eastside vs. Adams 6-7th at Eastside at 4:00 p.m.
· Friday, December 15, Eastside vs. Adams 8-9th at Eastside at 4:00 p.m.
· TRIP:
· Next Monday, December 10, is the last scheduled order date before Christmas break. Cash ‘n Carry available Mondays and Fridays from 2:30-3:00 p.m.
· TRIP Certificates make wonderful gifts for Senior Citizens, High School Students and to those who you would like to show your appreciation during this holiday season.
· CATECHISM SCHEDULE: Julia Herring and Kim Monsma are scheduled to watch the kids this Wednesday.
OTHER NEWS:
· BAND AND CHIOR CONCERT: The Band and Choir of Covenant Christian High School will present a holiday concert Sunday, December 17, at 8:15 p.m. at Grandville High School Auditorium.
· CCHS BOYS BASKETBALL: The CCHS Boys Basketball season begins next Tuesday, December 5. We would like to make our fans aware of a few things before the season starts. All Tickets are $4, regardless of age. If you are only attending the 9th grade games, tickets are $1 per person. Jr. High students will not be allowed to sit in the CCHS student section. Please make sportsmanship a priority as you represent our school. Season Passes are available at the door: Student - $16; Sr. Citizen - $16; Adult - $24; Family - $85. · CLASSIC PSALMS CD: Eric and Crista Phelps are now selling a new CD called “Classic Psalms”, which is a collection of arrangements of Psalter tunes written for cello and piano. To order, call the Phelps at 361-8674, or visit their website at www.classicalpraises.com to preview the CD and order. Cost is $15 (including shipping).
· GIFT CERTIFICATE DRIVE: Covenant Christian High School is again sponsoring its Gift Certificate Drive to help those who have need in our area Protestant Reformed churches. To participate, you can purchase gift certificates/cards (grocery stores, gas station, etc.) or send a check to Covenant, care of Jennifer Knott, Thank you!
· HANDEL’S MESSIAH: The Zeeland Civic Chorus is performing Handel’s Messiah for its 67th consecutive year on Tuesday, December 5, at the Central Avenue CRC in Holland. Please join the chorus in an evening of praise to our God!
· NETHERLANDS TRIP: Another trip is being planned for April 24-May 9, 2007. This trip will have both church history and many other interesting sites to see. Registration must be made by December 1, 2006. For more information contact Jim Schipper at 616-723-1455.
