Good Afternoon:

·        INSIGHTS: This weeks’ INSIGHTS is provided by Miss Lubbers.

·        NO SCHOOL: There will be a ½ day of school THIS Friday, because of the All-School Program practice.

·        CONGRATULATIONS to Gordy Voshell and his family at the birth of little sister Samantha Joy on Sunday.

·        ALL-SCHOOL PROGRAM: Plan on joining us for the All-School Program, THIS Friday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. at First PRC.

·   STUDENTS PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

·   Boys must wear their Navy Eastside Shirts with dress pants.

·   Girls must wear their Sunday dresses/skirts.

·   All students MUST be there by 7:10 p.m.

·        HOT LUNCH: This week Sunghyun Kim Lee and the Junior High will be serving Pizza, Chips, Pudding, and Pop. Snack Sale providers are Bernadette Orzechowski, Grace Seif, and Michelle Spees. Please have all snacks individually wrapped. Thank you.

·        PAPER DRIVE: The paper truck will be here March 21-April 7. Start saving your papers.

·        OPEN HOUSE: The pre-kindergarten and kindergarten Open House at Eastside Christian School is scheduled for Friday, April 28. Please contact Vicki DeKryger at 942-2930 if you would like your child to receive an invitation.

·        TRIP:

·   Due to Spring Break, we have scheduled THIS Wednesday, March 22, as a special order date for TRIP. This is your last opportunity to order before Spring Break and Easter. You will receive you order on Wednesday, March 29.

·   Cash ‘n Carry will be held this Friday at 11:30-12:00 noon, due to our half-day schedule. Vendor Update: Burger King is now available in a $10.00 gift card; they have discontinued the $5.00 books.

·        CATECHISM SCHEDULE: Carol Monsma and Meribeth Newhof are scheduled to watch catechism kids this Wednesday. REMINDER: All mothers must be at school by 3 p.m. and remain until 5:20 p.m.

 v           OTHER NEWS:

·        SPAGHETTI SUPPER: Hope Protestant Reformed School is having a Spaghetti Supper on April 22 from 5-7, at Hope School. Everyone is invited.

·        BASKETBALL LEAGUE: Covenant Christian boys varsity basketball coach, Russ Zwak, will be hosing a boys youth basketball league for boys in grades 4-9. The league will run for six weeks on Saturday mornings from April 15 – May 20. Registration forms are available at your school and must be returned by April 8. If you have any questions please call 662-8128.

·        FAMILY FUN NIGHT: Heritage Christian School’s Family Fun Night will be held on Friday, March 24 from 5-8:30 p.m. Fun and games and a delicious supper are planned. Everyone is invited to attend.

·        BAND CONCERT: The Covenant Christian High School Band will present a concert of a variety of band music on Saturday, March 18, 7 p.m. at the Wyoming Park High School Auditorium.
