Good Afternoon:
· ENROLLMENT FORMS: Not everyone has turned in their enrollment forms. If you have not, please return them ASAP. Thank you.
· TUITION REMINDER: Final tuition statements were mailed recently to all families who still have outstanding balances. All tuition payments are due by June 1 unless prior arrangements have been made with the finance committee. Please pay your remaining balance or call Tom J. Newhof (406-2025 work or 949-5857 home) if you need to discuss other arrangements.
· MINDS ATTUNED FAIR: Thank you to all who came and participated. There are more parent tool books available if another is wanted or needed.
· SUMMER CLEANING BEE: The Summer Cleaning Bee is August 5 beginning at 9 a.m. If you would like to participate, please call the school office (942-2939).
· STOP-N-SHOP: Thinking of learning a new craft or looking for a reason to make your next afghan? We would love to showcase your beautiful craft and handmade items at the Eastside Stop-N-Shop table. All profits go directly to the school. Questions? Call Cheryl Corson at 365-9330.
· HOT LUNCH: This week Grace Seif and Amy Spees will be serving Hot Dogs, Chips, Ice Cream, and Pop. Snack Sale providers are Bernadette Orzechowski, Grace Seif, and Michelle Spees. Please have all snacks individually wrapped. Thank you.
· TRIP: This is the last week of our regular schedule for Cash and Carry. Orders placed today will be available for pick-up on Friday, May 26. Next week due to the holiday and end of the school year Cash and Carry will be available on Wednesday, May 31 from 2:30-3:00 p.m. only. Summer Cash and Carry days will be on Friday, July 7 from 1:00-1:30 p.m. and on Friday, August 4 from 1:00-1:30 p.m.
· CHIOR CONCERT: This Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at First PRC, our Eastside choir will join the two choirs of Adams Christian School for a combined concert of both sacred and secular numbers. There will be refreshments following in the church basement. Anyone interested is invited to attend. The following moms have volunteered to bring 1 or 2 gallons of punch (please put in the church refrigerator): Carol Monsma (2), Anne Miedema (2) Sunghyun Lee (1), Carol DeVries (2), Karen Ophoff (1), Amy Flikkema (2), Michelle Spees (2). Karen and Amy will be serving. Thanks to all for your help!
· LIBRARY: All library books must be returned to the library by THIS Wednesday, May 24. If a child has books a list was sent home with him/her today.
· OTHER NEWS:
· MEMORIAL DAY BREAKFAST: Georgetown PRC will be hosting a Memorial Day Breakfast Buffet on Monday, May 29 from 7:30-11 a.m. Proceeds will go to Emmaus House Orphanage in Bogata, Romania. Everyone is welcome!
· HOPE CLASSIC RACES: Come runners/walkers and spectators! The races are scheduled for Saturday, June 3, beginning at 8:45 a.m. All 5K runners/walkers should be at school by 8:20 a.m. Race pakets can be picked up Friday evening or Saturday morning in the gym. Registration is open until 8 a.m. on race morning.
· PANCAKE BREAKFAST: Trinity Young People’s Society will be holding a Pancake Breakfast on Memorial Day from 7-10 a.m. We’re close to the parade routes!
